Engineering Full-time

Mid–Senior React / Next.js Engineer

HAQQ Beirut, Lebanon

About the Team

HAQQ is building the AI Operating System for the legal industry. As we scale, our web product surfaces — from marketing to in-app workflows — become a competitive advantage. We need engineers who care about the details and can move fast without sacrificing quality.

About the Role

We're looking for a web engineer who's fluent in modern React, knows Next.js inside out, and cares about the details — the kind of person who notices when a transition feels half a second off or when a component is doing too much. You'll work on customer-facing product surfaces and internal tooling, with a lot of room to shape how the front-end evolves. This role is based at HAQQ HQ in Beirut, Lebanon. We operate a hybrid work model.

In This Role You Will

  • Build new product features in Next.js — from the data layer up to the pixel.
  • Own complex UI surfaces: forms, editors, dashboards, and real-time / streaming interfaces.
  • Make sensible architecture calls about server vs. client components, data fetching, caching, and state.
  • Collaborate with designers to turn Figma into UI that actually behaves correctly on real devices.
  • Keep an eye on performance, bundle size, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals as the product grows.

You Might Thrive If You

  • 3+ years of professional engineering experience focused on React.
  • Strong production experience with Next.js (App Router) and a clear mental model of server vs. client components, route handlers, and streaming.
  • Strong TypeScript fundamentals. You write types that help, not types that fight you.
  • Comfortable building UI with Tailwind and a component-driven approach (Radix / shadcn or similar headless primitives).
  • Solid grasp of modern data fetching and caching — TanStack Query or equivalent — and when to reach for what.
  • Real experience with form-heavy, stateful interfaces and complex client-side logic.
  • An eye for design and motion. You don't need to be a designer, but you should care about how things feel.
  • Comfortable working async, writing things down, and reviewing other people's code constructively.
