HAQQ is building the AI Operating System for the legal industry. We are a regional, high-growth startup on a mission to redefine how legal professionals work by giving them a secure, high-performance platform that handles everything from practice management to complex legal intelligence. Mobile is now a first-class surface for HAQQ. We need engineers who have shipped real apps to real users and know what it takes to keep them stable, fast, and pleasant to use.

About the Role

We're looking for a mobile engineer who has shipped real apps to real users and knows what it takes to keep them stable, fast, and pleasant to use. You'll own meaningful parts of our mobile product end-to-end — from architecture decisions through to App Store and Play Store release. This is a hands-on role for someone who can take an ambiguous problem, scope it, build it, and ship it without a lot of supervision. This role is based at HAQQ HQ in Beirut, Lebanon. We operate a hybrid work model.

In This Role You Will

Build new features and improve existing ones across iOS and Android from a single codebase.
Work closely with design and backend engineers to land features that feel native, not bolted-on.
Make pragmatic calls on native modules vs. JS-only solutions when the cross-platform path falls short.
Help raise the bar on performance, animations, accessibility, and offline behavior.
Own App Store and Play Store releases end-to-end, including signing, provisioning, and rollout.

You Might Thrive If You

3+ years of professional engineering experience focused on React Native.
A track record of apps you've personally shipped to the App Store and Google Play — bonus points if you can point to them.
Strong TypeScript fundamentals. You're comfortable in a strict, well-typed codebase.
Comfort with native tooling when needed — Xcode, Android Studio, signing, provisioning, and the occasional Swift/Kotlin patch.
Experience integrating push notifications, in-app purchases / subscriptions, deep links, secure storage, analytics, and crash reporting.
Strong instincts for performance: list virtualization, re-render hygiene, memory, image handling, and startup time.
Calm, clear written communication. We work async a lot.
Nice to have: streaming UIs, chat interfaces or AI/LLM surfaces, CI/CD for mobile (Fastlane or similar), and surviving a major React Native or Expo upgrade in production.
